Payment Terms And Conditions
These are our payment terms which constitutes Terms of Business:

General
- The commissioning of the Company Four Diamond Paws by the Client
to carry out House Sitting, Dog Walking or Pet sitting assignments,
whether verbally or in writing constitutes acceptance of these Terms of
business.
- The Company is to treat all data about Clients, prospective
Clients as strictly confidential and not to forward Client data to
third parties unless all parties agree otherwise.
Our Agreement
- The Company agrees to supply Home Sitting or pet related services
in accordance with a brief provided by the Client, which may include
the care of pets owned by the Client; and the maintenance of the house,
garden plants and lawns subject to services agreed by both parties.
Payment
- The Client agrees to secure their booking with a non-refundable
deposit of £10 or 10%, whichever the greater following a meeting with
their Pet Sitter as per current payment terms.
- The Client agrees to settle the balance payment for such services 2 days prior to the assignment start date.
- The Client agrees that payment in cheque must allow sufficient
time for payment to clear at least 2 days prior to the commencement of
assignment.
- For long term or ongoing assignments, invoicing of fees may be
set up on a monthly basis. However a higher deposit will be
required and invoices must be paid in full within 7 days of issue date.
- In respect of monthly invoicing, such terms must be agreed in advance with Four Diamond Paws.
- If payment is not received in accordance with these terms of
business, the Company is not obliged to honour any previously agreed
terms.
- The Company reserves the right to charge higher fees for Bank
Holidays and emergency services. Wherever practicable, such fees
will be previously agreed with the Client as per described payment terms.
Rules of Employment
- Your Four Diamond Paws Sitters are employees of the Company and
all instructions to them must come from, or with approval of, the
Company Management.
Insurance
- The Company will ensure the integrity and suitability of your Pet
Sitter for every assignment. All Pet Sitters are covered with
Public Liability Insurance to assure the Client with peace of mind.
- The Company's insurance cover, is only valid when Four Diamond
Paws Pet Sitter is working on an assignment from the Company and for
the duration and times of the selected service.
- It is agreed that it is the Clients responsibility to adequately
insure the property, its contents and any pets with a reputable
insurer, and such insurance shall continue for the duration of this
agreement.
- The Company cannot accept any liability for the loss or injury to any pet.
- The Company cannot accept any liability for the loss or damage to
Client's property during house security visits. Home security
visits are deemed as a deterrent not as liability for the Client's
property.
Miscellaneous
- Where non standard services are involved, i.e. greenhouses, indoor
plant collections and garden maintenance etc, charges will be
made according to the level of skill required. Estimates may be
provided by telephone and detailed quotation in person or in writing.
- Payment terms agreed between Pet Sitter and the Client are to be agreed annually or on a regular basis if deemed necessary.
- It is agreed with the Client, the Pet Sitter may wish to have the
companionship of their partner during an assignment. This will be
to no extra expense to the Client, the partner will be Police checked,
insured and vetted by Four Diamond Paws in the same strict manner as
will the Pet Sitter.
- The Company reserves the right to amend these payment Terms of Business without notification to the Client.
- The Company agrees that home sitting and pet related fees already
covers mileage and Pet Sitter personal expenses, to include food and
personal toiletries.
- The Client agrees that all pet food and pet medicines are to be provided by the Client.
- The Company reiterates that Four Diamond Paws Pet Sitter is not to
replace a Vet and pet related advice is based on a personal opinion,
it does not constitute as appropriate Veterinary advice.
- The Client is responsible for ensuring that both their house
and its environment, not the work expected of the Pet Sitter, present
any avoidable or likely risks recognised by the Health and Safety
Executive.
- The Company reserves the right to refuse to accept any assignment which would result in putting a pet or animal at risk.
- It is the responsibility of the Client to ensure that the Pet
Sitter has received a brief according to pet needs and in accordance
with the Client's expectations.
